A modern transport community, we aim to get people speaking and involved. Steering transit discourse in a way that helps everyone.
Why we exist
"Queensland moves better when people are willing to speak up and show up for the public." - Imogen B, Lead Founder
We push for better frequency, accessibility, and safety across the network.
Regular hangouts, respectful debates, and a welcoming vibe for all.
Timely news on projects and services- minus the jargon.
Connect with people of all ages in South-East Queensland and bond over transport.

FAQ
SEQTA is a community promoting advocacy and appreciation for public transport in Queensland.

No. We’re independent and community‑run.
Yes! access to the community is free.
Forums come with significant inconvenience and operational costs. SEQTA believes Discord is the best platform to host our work at this current point. For similar services that use forums- we recommend "Better Transport Queensland"
We have a strong and clear committment to all people of any background. This includes our large LGBTQIAP+ community. We are one of few transport groups to have a clear pro-queer stance :)
