This week, We visited the QTMP.
On Thursday we got the pleasure of taking some members of the South-East Queensland Transit Association to the Queensland Train Manufacturing Project mockup facility in Geebung. Here, we got an exclusive tour of the mockup and the privilege of being able to voice our concerns and help shape the project. We are so thankful to the Department of Transport and Main Roads, Translink and the QTMP project for giving us this tour, and allowing us our own timeslot. During this time we got to share your feedback with the project directly:
- Buttons on doors
- Seating concerns
- Concerns with where it runs
- And so much more.
Thanks to the conversations this connected-community has had, we were able to represent the broader community and shape this project. The people who went along to the QTMP were outspoken and super engaged with staff.
